[identity profile] stuffitmod.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] bandomstuffsit
Hi, everyone! This is your reminder that the due date for your bandomstuffsit exchange fics is approaching. They are due no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific time Dec. 16. By that time, fics must have been beta'd, and they must be at least 1,500 words.

Please e-mail the completed fic to stuffitmod@gmail.com with a subject line that reads: "bandomstuffsit gift by (your lj name)." You should attach your fic in a text (.txt) file, with italics/bolding/other HTML coding already done, so the fic will be formatted the way you want it to appear when we post it to the community. If you don't understand how to code bold/italics/whatever, please check out this LJ FAQ.

This is the header you should include with your fic:

Please note that you MUST fill out the warning section of your header. If you've written a fluffy fic with nothing more edgy than snowball fights and a kiss under the mistletoe, you can simply write "none" in that field. However, you MUST warn for non-con, dubcon, death, incest, self-harm, eating disorders, violence and gore.

If you know now or come to realize that you will not be able to finish your recipient's fic, let me know as soon as possible. I'd like to give pinch hitters as much time to work as possible.

Everyone should have received an email with this same information. You don't need to confirm or check in yet, because I'll be sending another email sometime in early December to make sure everyone's still on track. If you haven't received an email from me yet, please check your spam filters. If you still haven't gotten it, send me an email at stuffitmod @ gmail.com and I'll re-send.

Thank you and happy writing!

Hi! If the fic is going to be over LJ character limits, is it okay to send [number-of-parts] txt files, broken up as we would want them to be? Or would you prefer to do the breaking up? I don't usually post to LJ, so it's a little odd for me, but I think I can make sure that the parts are well within bounds by private-test-posting them before I finalize the text files.

Thank you!

Thanks again for letting me know!

Also, sort of random, but I'm terribly curious about how many people ended up using the new "find out who you're writing for" option this year--do you plan to release stats on that?
