I am seriously sucky for taking such a long time to reply to this, but THANK YOU, and I am so so happy you enjoyed this. I was a little stressed in the weeks prior to writing this and though it has apparently taken me 2 months to reply to this, your comment made me incredibly happy when I got it (and still does ♥). You basically have your own self to thank for this fic -- the idea had kind of been floating in my mind for a while but I wasn't really going to write it, and then I saw your various prompts which kind of cemented more and more ideas (and tropes) into something I could actually write. Not to mention that I love your high school stories and the way you write Spencer and Ryan and Brendon so much, that writing for you was kind of like trying to write like you, because you are one of my big influences on how to write these kinds of stories well.
ANYWAY tldr? uh. I'm glad you like the girlfriends line it was one of my favorites :D haha Ryro and Spencer managing to tease him even through his angst.

Oh that was just painful in its honesty.
Oh man, this too. Because when people move on to better things, you want to be happy for them, but then they're also moving away from you :( (*note to girl at my job this is currently relevant to who is not reading this: please don't quit your job! even though it will probably make you happier /o\ /selfish wishful thinking.)
