Ooh. This was lovely. I love the way you weaved the real-life stuff in here - probably because I'm very fond of Pete and Gabe's flirty tweets - and how Bebe was insecure but powering through at the same time.

And I loved the language. This line in particular: Every song he gives her, every time they perform together on stage, every word of wisdom he imparts to her, she's finding a little more of herself, like she's the caterpillar and he's helping weave her cocoon. Chills.
